CloudSync Solutions was founded in 2019 by a team of engineers and cryptographers at ETH Zurich who were frustrated with the trade-off between security and usability in existing file sync solutions. We set out to prove that zero-knowledge encryption doesn't have to mean a clunky user experience.
Today, CloudSync protects over 4 billion files for 12,400+ organizations across 47 countries. We're headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland — a jurisdiction with some of the strongest data privacy laws in the world — with engineering offices in Berlin and Lisbon.
